Babies start crawling at different ages. It really depends on the baby. Some babies never crawl at all and go straight to walking. Because of this, crawling has been taken off of the milestone lists. All of my kids started crawling around 7 months though.

My son started pushing himself across the floor at 4 months old. He would push with his legs, but would do a face plant across the floor. He was crawling by 5 3/4 months.

The normal learning time is 6 mo, but some babies don't care to learn until 8 mo. Some babies just are much more anxious to explore! Be forewarned, though, because my baby used his 6 month to learn how to pull up...and now he's acting like he wants to walk!

My daughter started at 5 months old, but she was pulling herself up and flipping over at 3-4 months old. All babies do things differently at different times. Some don't crawl at all--they just stand up and take off running.

My son just turned 5 months and has been crawling for 2 weeks now, but all babies are different. So just be patient and he will learn when he is ready.

My son started trying to crawl at 6mths...about three weeks later he started scooting on his belly and then two weeks after that he got up on all fours and started crawling. So he was about 71/2 mths. but like everyone else said it all depends on the baby. My brother was crawling at 5mths and walking at 7mths!!! So it all depends on when the baby is ready.

My son started around 7 months. He's 8 months now, and he's a go-getter! Every baby is different though. Yours will go when he/she is good and ready!

He will learn, my son started rolling over at 2 mths of age, now imagine my horror! just keep allowing him to explore his body and eventually he will just get up and go! Theres no normal age for anything with children, they do things at there own pace.
