Were been married for almost 11yrs,I can say that before my husband loved me more than I loved him infact he was the main reason why we are together now,he fought for our love,he sacrificed everything for me and he loved me regardless of our race, religion and differences.
For eleven years he didn't laid his hand on me..........Not until this month,he started to slap me and fulled my hair once. He didn't usually do that to me even how much I made him angry, but now I can't understand that just because of a petty thing and simple arguements he slapped my face.I cried a lot not because of the pain it caused on my face,I cried because of the pain it caused my heart.Why?...Does it mean he's lossing his love?PLEASE HELP ME!

Okay...first of all you need not be concerned about how " he is feeling" right now. I will be glad to answer your question though...no, he doesn't love you. People who love the person they are with dont' smack them around. You are experiencing the affects of abuse right now and you need to take a step back and look at what is happening. Here is the pattern...abuse...guilt( because you think it is your fault). Then he apologizes, then the cycle continues until you become so battered that you won't know how to get out of there...you will become so brainwashed into thinking it is your fault. That is why they call it battered wife syndrome. Catch it now before it is too late, and do not assume that your husband is "different." Don't focus on how he feels for you ANYMORE...focus on how his actions are affecting you. I mean it...if you don't get out of there now it will just keep getting worse and worse. Good luck to you!

It is strange that he suddenly changed. Does he have a drinking problem or a problem with drugs? Does he have low self esteem? Or has he started having an affair and does he feel guilty?
Try to make him feel loved but if the physical abuse happens again, don't accept it, get out because if it happens again, it won't stop. But please please try to make him feel loved first, maybe because you let it be known that you didn't love him all that much he's feeling unloved and just can't handle it anymore, but I hate to say it, it sounds like he's guilty of an affair.
Good Luck, hope things work out well for you.

It means it's time to let him go. No body deserves to be hit. My husband was really nice to me then one day slapped me in the face. After that first time he did it everytime he was upset. It's not gonna stop once it starts and could get much worse.

Nothing gives your husband the right to put his hands on you. If you were not happy with him a long time ago, why are you in such turmoil? Obviously, you both have come to the end of the road. Just leave!!!

My husband says:
He's cheating and wants you to leave him and is too much of a pu$$y to end it nicely.
OR
He's using drugs, alcohol or has a gambling problem(to the point it's causing financial ruin...check your bank account NOW)
Something has changed in HIM. 11 years and all of a sudden? No, something went wrong on his end.
(that was directly from my husband's mouth)

hello i am so sorry for the situation that you are in, i know the feeling,, iknow that you love him ,,, and now he is abusing you and you think he's losing his love for you no i think that he is losing his mind..... be strong and relize that it is not your fault, he is not man enough to take care of his business the right way.... you should move on and get the happiness that you so much deserve... do not let him deny you of something that is so important to you... his love is not worth all the heart ache,, ihope that you can move on and let him be by himself

Poeple always say marriage is the grave of love....to some extend, it's true. Most of the time if you can treat our sibling like our friends, we can avoid alot of disagreement. Like wise for married couple, they always treat each other more nasty than their friends.....
