I do believe I am somebody"s hero..my daughters..and that is the only kind of hero that matters to me

I'm a hero to my nephew for saving his life when he was 6. I'm also a hero to all the stray/abused animals that I rescue. My husband says I'm his hero.
But I really hope that I'm my daughters hero, they are the only ones that really matter to me.

Once upon a time, I convinced a friend to finish high school instead of quitting seven months shy of the goal. On her graduation day, she told me I was her hero.
More recently, my ten year old niece told me I'm the 'coolest person in our whole family'.... not quite the same thing, but feels nice anyhow!
