I am a foster parent, so I get to see this in person. Yes, a lot of folks do treat their kids as disposable, or part-time, or inconveniences. To me, it comes down to adults not being accountable for their own actions, not taking responsibility, or being stuck in a victim mentality and not fixing their selfish, self-destructive lives. Meanwhile, the kids suffer the most. Fun, ain't it?

Honestly I think the way people raise their children all stem from "family of Orgin" They don't know any other way....
They can only teach what they were taught....They have lack of respect for themselves, so how can they give a little person respect? Let alone self-esteem....as for the people on Jerry Springer......well let's just say.......no self worth *nodding head*
