What does the phrase, "women had the climate on their side" mean?

I have never heard this saying before, I searched and searched and can't find nothing. sorry.

Not a clue. never heard of that phrase, Can you provide more context...like the complete sentence?
My guess, and this is only a guess, is that contemporary people would interpret this as a woman having a perceived advantage due to the current political climate. Or... who knows?

"Climate" here means someone's surroundings, probably meaning more specifically society and what other people think of them. So this saying means "society and people around them support women more than men."

I've never heard the saying before, but "climate" is used figuratively rather than literally. It means outward conditions or situations were favorable to women. Opportunities were there, people approved, things were good.

I have never heard that one, but I would figure it to mean that the men are usually the ones to shovel the snow, mow the lawn, etc. and the women are usually the ones inside taking care of the house. It's just a guess.

In one year there are four seasons, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. so does women when she is Young she is cold like winter, cute like snow, when she is in her youth she is hot like summer and when she gets married she gives birth to babies like bloom in spring, and lastly the teeth start falling off when she gets old like leaf fall off the trees in fall.
