called em,asked em to be removed but they say i must be on the list for 2 more months.

Share your sympathy with their cause. Explain your own financial situation. Let them know of your level of interest and your actual ability to make contributions at the present time. You can thank them for their effort to contact you and inform them of your intention (if you have one) to donate in the future without their expending their volunteer or staff hours on a phone call to you. If you let them know that their resources are being misused, it may prompt them to spend less time trying to contact you.
Also, it is very helpful to ask them to log your comments in the computer so that future staff members are aware of your position.

If you're on the "don't call" list, then report them -- it'll cost them big fines for every call they make to you.
If you're not on the list, call the National Do Not Call Registry and register. It's easy and free!

Ask to be removed form their calling list.
Then if they call again, document it, and report them to the FTC.
