Short term: buy Yves St Laurent Concealer. Comes in a brush with a clicky end so you can dispense the liquid easily. Buy it from Boots. Best coverage possible, and will disguise your dark circles in minutes! Bit pricey, mine cost £15 but has lasted for months and I use it every day. Long term: Keeping getting plenty of sleep and drinking enough water will help! Not much else you can do, some people just have naturally darker skin here and the best bet is a dab of concealer if it matters to you, although I can promise other people won't notice them half as much as you do!

Take two tea bags and get them wet. Put them in the freezer for 15 minutes. Then lay down and place one tea bag on each eye, and leave them on your eyes for 20-30 minutes or so. This should reduce the swelling quite a bit. (Getting a good nights sleep will help too.) Putting a light application of concealer under your eyes and on the dark area's will brighten your eyes up too. If you don't have concealer, a light colored foundation under the eyes will work just fine also.

Try TimeWise® Firming Eye Cream. It's a rich cream that firms, moisturizes, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, and best for YOU... BRIGHTENS. I use it and the results amaze me.
Indulge™ Soothing Eye Gel is a cool, soothing gel that helps reduce puffiness. You can wear it as a mask before you go to bed and even if you don't get much sleep, you're eyes don't show it!

You can buy cremes that you put on before you go to bed that work really well(I think it is by Maybelline)or you can put cucumber slices on your eyes(that is why they put them on your eyes if you go to the spa).
