My dad makes me go to church every Sunday, and I always get bored. I've tried listening to the mass, or reading the books they leave out, but I still get bored. I've practically got the whole mass memorized because I used to have to go twice a week.
I have to be doing something, other wise I'll fall asleep, quite litteraly.
So my question is, is it all right to knit while I'm in church? I don't have to focus on my knitting to much, and I can still particapate, etc. Many a old lady has done it So what's your opionon? Serious answers please.

I know this seems like a scary thing, but if I were you, I would simply ask the priest. My opinion is that it is ok. You could even give whatever you knit to the church charity; something tells me that would especially make it ok!
Plus, if old ladies are doing it, why not you, goshdarnit!?

I honestly think this will be frowned upon. Old ladies get away with it because, well, they know the old ladies are really listening to the mass. lol
I think you're just gonna have to be bored. There's nothing you can do until your dad can't make you go anymore. Wish I had a better answer for ya.

rather try to change the church (i don't think about religion but the place)- find younger, more active community and mass for the people in your age
also, talk with the priest about better understanding what happen in the church for full participation - not just watching

i think that you should voulenteer in church because that can make u happy because u dont have to be bored and that would makre your parents happy bwecause they wont have to keep waking u up. any ways it seems that u are always in church so it would be beeter to do that

no I don't think so, they let the old ladies get away with it because they were old, not cool for young things to do

No its not OK. first go pray and tell God to help you. so you can focus wile your are church. and 2nd just because the grama does it. doesn't mean you can do it. don't look up to her.

If others do it, I see no reason why you shouldn't be allowed. Ask your dad his position on this.
