The dude gets bad scripts. Anyone who knows about Tenacious D knows he's a funny dude and a talented musician at that.

I think he is funny. I just saw school of rock in the weekend. The bits where he was truly funny were obviously sd-libs and his facial expressions were great. The bits that seemed odd were when he had scripted parts that needed to be said. I enjoyed the movie anyway.

I used to think he was really funny but he just annoyed me on the VMA's..... maybe it WAS just a lousy script

I don't. He's really not that great. A good comedian can make a bad script funny.

he was funny in anchorman - he kicked a dog off the bridge but dont worry the dog survives - if hes in a movie for more than 5 mins he bugs me - oh hold on im not sure if it was him in anchorman - is this the dude from white stripes?

I think he is really funny.... altho i think alot of the scripts are funny b/c he does them.

i do think he is funny, but it also seems he is always trying to be "on" when you see him in an interview. That's when it seems like he's trying way too hard.

hes not too funny hes more likable and goofy which gets him roles but he has terrible comedic timing

I have never found him to be funny at all. He grates on my last nerve.
