The Dark Ages set the human race back some 500 years in advancement in technology. Can you imagine how far advanced we'd be now? What will it be like for the human race in 500 years?
Thanks for your answers

I believe that man is the highest technology, and that everything in the outer world is but a reflection of his own being. Physics is blatantly showing us that we are one with existence, and have access to all of the loving wisdom and knowledge within the universe, we just filter it out. Once we discover that we are collapsing infinite potential into a reality (everything is just patterned light on the Divine cinema) and that what you believe creates reality, we will have reached our pinnacle. with science and spirituality merging again, I see rapid transformation(mutation) taking place sooner than later.

Well in Medieval Times we had swords and clubs as weapons. Now we have guns and rifles and tanks. In the Age of Piracy we had compasses and now we have gps navigators. Hm...
Maybe 500 years from now we could get around the world in a matter of minutes or we could have our own small little jets. Every house would own a robot. We would have cellphones that could let us watch sattelite tv, dvds, and let us play cool 3d games, take pictures and videos that we can make look 3d...this is all turning into my imagination.

I don't know if I'd agree that the Dark Ages set us back, considering other cultures - such as the Islamic and Chinese - were still flourishing.

I think in 500 years we would have eliminated our use of hydrocarbon fuels, we'll be able to fly from NYC to Tokyo in a couple of hours, and we may have colonies on the Moon and Mars.
