No offense. (Not that I care if you are offended regardless.) But this is a stupid question. You make the question seem sort of sexist. You don't have to be talking about the opposite gender to be sexist. A girl's hair should be as long as she wants it to be, and a guy's as well. It's their hair, their life, and their choice.

If she is on the shorter side, mid-length to really short looks best, if she is tall and young(under 35, my MOM used to say) long hair looks awesome. But there are no real "rules", whatever makes her feel she looks great is how she should do her hair!!!!1

Personally, I think if long hair suits you...grow it as long as you want. I have long hair, and I can tell you from personal experience it takes alot to take care of...but I wouldn't have it any other way.
