If you have windows XP the just go to control panel click on add remove programs find windows media player click remove and that should be it hope this helps

Go to "Add or Remove Programs" under the "Control Panel" menu then select "Add/Remove Windows Components". It should be at the left side of the window. Then unmark the check box corresponding to "windows media player" then click next until you are prompted that the player was removed.

Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs, scroll to windows media player. then click remove.

Start, Programs....find windows media right click delete or control delete.

well u cant delete it actually but u can do kind of disabling it..
1. jst go to add or remove programs if ur hvin winXP
2.den click on tab add or remove windows component just unchek box of windows media player
3.n press next...
4.now it ll install only those components which has been checked n ll remove WMP successfully....

You cant, cause its incoporated into Windows, but Windows media is actually pretty good, if you have downloaded the Series 11 version, it is REALLY good and MUCH better than all th other ones

You can't do that and don't do it your Widows XP will crash !
