Nothing wrong with plucking, your Mom is right...it is the over-plucking that is a problem, I have a sister whom I love dearly that grew up in the 70s and has very little brow left, listen to Mom. I prefer waxing, and in a pinch... pluck a little, keep 'em shaped, and I like to use a little bit of hair remover underneath so I am not ripping on that delicate skin. Good luck. You should check out Anastasia Brows, you can get her products at Sephora.com she is the Queen of Brows..always error on less is better.
I am a "good eyebrows" fanatic.

There is nothing wrong with plucking your eyebrows as long as you don't pluck them down to a thin line. That looks bad and sometimes they won't grow back in. Ask your mom to make an appt at a salon to have them done professionally. Then you will know how much to pluck and where.

Sounds like you more issues on your plate other than plucking your eyebrows. IN any case, with plucking the problem is over-plucking. You get than scared-rabbit, Jersey-whore look. You need to have someone who knows how to shape brows do it for you the first time so that they can create a brow line that's suitible to your face. Do it yourself and you'll be "fixing and evening up" until you have no brows left.

hey if it keeps you from having one huge eyebrow then go for it, if there were no plucking devices, cremes, hair dyes, makeup would that be so bad? what if we actually let nature takes its course, perhaps vanity wouldn't be such a constant thing in this country, but it is, so pluck away you are doing what you have to, to follow the masses, we all are, just remember that inside is what really counts, hek I shave, I have to I think it's gross all that hair everywhere, god bless venus razors, do your thang girlfriend

nothing's wrong with it, just make sure not to pluck ABOVE the brow line or overpluck to make your brows too short or thin. stick to plucking stray haris between the brow and your eye. when you are done, wipe the freshly plucked area with rubbing alcohol to avoid getting any infections (ie, red bumps).

nicely i in my view only pluck and it would not injury THAT lots... it sort of feels like the greater circumstances you pluck them the fewer it hurts. yet i think if it hurts too extraordinarily you're able to desire to purely take an Advil in the previous you do?
