Chances are, you are not pregnant. Depending on how long you've been on your current method of birth-control, and how closely you're adhearing to your schedule with them (you're supposed to take your pill each day at the same time of day), your hormones could be imbalanced. This could be reason for the spotting. Also, birth-control often curbs menstrual cycles and the menstration period can often be light.
Many home pregnancy tests cannot give you a true positive or true negative for atleast 3 weeks after you become pregnant. The urinalysis detector you buy at a store may not be sensitive enough to pick up low levels of hormone produced during a pregnancy.
If you want to be 100% sure, go see a physician. There are simple blood work tests that can be done to check the levels of these hormones and give you an accurate answer.

Chances are you are not pregnant. You were probably having break through bleeding because of your not taking your pills correctly. However, it is still too early to know for sure with the pregancy test. Wait about a week and take it again if your period hasn't started. Not all women have symptoms of pregnancy early.

there is a possiblilty that you could be though it could be to early to tell. My best friend is discovered she was 2 months pregnant, while on the pill, she only missed a couple. Don't forget for every pill you miss, it will take two weeks to start working again. So if you missed one pill, your unprotected against pregnancy for 2 weeks.

i dont think you are pregnant, because you missed those pills your body is reacting to that, and you spotted, so no need to worry. if you dont want to be preggo, then get back on the pills asap and you want to be then wait a few months (until the pills are completely out of your system) and then start trying for it. good luck and as of right now it doesnt sound to me like your preggo.

I think its the result of missing pills. It throws off your system, hence the spotting. But you have to be careful with that. My friend had just missed some pills in her last pack and fell pregnant!

Missing pills can cause your period to be abnormal. If you are concerned go to your doctor.
