i got my navel peirced about a year ago and i was having problems with it! after it got infected twice i got a keloid! it's not big but it's dark! i wanted to know how do I get rid of it? It's only on the top and if I take my shirt off you can see it very well! How do i shrink it or remove it all together is it even possible?

if it is a raised scar go for Cica Care...helps to flatten and lighten it. If its just a flat coloured scar Mederma can help. Effectiveness depends on the age of the scar...so start treatment fast

Try not to traumatize the keloid, it will grow like scratching it or scrubbing. You can go to your dermatologist and ask for a steroid injection, this will help in reducing the size. You can also try Pulsed Dye laser..it works. For the pigment, try bleaching creams as advised also by the doctor. Hope this helps. God bless!

Keloids are really common with navel piercings.
Email or call your piercer. They have salt water soaks to help with the keloids.
