pittsburgh steelers no doubt about it!

While the Steelers do not have one of the top five defensive units, their top Safety, Troy Polamalu, could play a side on his own, and still shut anyone down, he is arguably the best Safety in the NFL right now.

However, without an effective offense, there is not much hope for the Steelers. Hines Ward is questionable, Ben Roethlisberger is out, Antwaan Randle El is in Washington, and The Bus made his final run.

That leaves Charlie Batch, and a weak set of recievers to cope against a defense with one of the top three Defensive Ends in the league (Jason Taylor).

On offense, the Dolphins now have a good trio; Daunte Culpepper, who looks to rebound after he tore all 3 knee ligaments, Chris Chambers at wideout, and Ronnie Brown in the backfield.

As good as Polamalu is, he won't be able to stop this offense alone.

Miami: 24, Pittsburgh: 10.

The Steelers arguably have the best defense in the NFL. Miami just doesnt have enough offensive or defensive weapons to outplay the Steelers. I'm not really a Pittsburgh fan but i hav to go with the Steelers on this one. They're just a better all-around team.

Willie Parker is too good for anyone on Miami's defense to be able to stop and the defense will bring too much pressure for Miami's O-line to handle.

Look for the Steelers to rout Miami in this one.

i think the dolphins will win 27-17.
miami should be improved on offense although the injury to seth mckinney will hurt. their defense is very strong. the addition of dan wilkenson on the line will help a lot.
i would have thought the game would be closer, but with big ben out and hines ward still nursing a hamstring injury i think that the passing game will struggle and without a passing game, it will be pretty tough to run the ball effectively.

I think it will be a close game, but I say ...
Miami will win 24 to 21 over Pittsburgh.

I would say Pittsburgh no doubt, but with Big Ben out, I'd say it will be a close one. I still believe the Steelers will win, though!

Miami. Rothlesburger is out, defending champs often do bad in prime-time opening game, Miami is pretty good (Dante), Batch sux. Hines Ward is limping. Miami is capable of pulling off the upset.

Miami 21-17

a pair weeks in the past I loved the Fins in this one...Winless, adversarial to a crew flying extreme, on Monday nighttime plus the go back of J-Pizzy to Heinz container. I smelt dissatisfied the entire way. yet after the Stillers dropping to Gang eco-friendly this previous week they are going to be authentic hungry. Absolute blow out. Steelers 40-6
