For my boyfriends birthday I made him a collection of CD's - favorites from each decade, a couple with my favorites - for him to get to know - a couple with his favorites (show him you pay attention) and a CD with songs that remind us of each other. It was time consuming but he really loved it, especially the liner notes! A personal and inexpensive gift, and also fun for the car rides while you are enjoying your weekend!
Another gift I got someone was a personalized keychain - a special saying that meant a lot to us as a couple, something simple, and something that reminded him of us everywhere he went.
You can always put on a little show for him in the bedroom too... if you haven't already, looking into some sexy costumes that match his fantasies, might make for a birthday night he won't forget!
