A jury trial is when a jury decides if you are guilty or not guilty

jury trial has nothing to do with getting out of jail it is where 12 people hear the evidence for and against you and decide if you are guilty or not.

depends on the verdict. if it is guilty he stays in jail. alot of times there is a plea bargain made so it doenst have to go to trial. so that may mean getting out of jail if the plea bargain is made.
