If you are a dancer, don't you have an instructor or coach or someone like that you could ask?
Chicks don't worry about too much muscle! Neither should you!

And you're a girl?
Are you heterosexual? Because if you are, then you've got the goods. Forget what the fashion magazines are always throwing at us with the anorexic chicks. Fashion magazines are run by women and gay guys. What do they know about what straight guys really want?
A little bit of fat is plenty fine. And a girl with tone.....a tight-bodied girl with muscle tone......wowee.......
Lookit. Don't be afraid of that. It is sexy to a straight guy. Odds are you look really good.

Dancers typically have great physiques. Are certain muscles too big or do you have too much definition in areas you want to look soft? Need more information...

Lots of junk advice on this one. Here is a real answer:
Continue working out. Reduce the intensity/duration of your workouts. Change from some of the heavy weight bearing exercises to aerobic ones.

reduce the dancing a bit. muscle can be eaten away by the metabolic rate of your body. remember David Blane.
Best wishes

do what i do. nothing. i can already lift a sixty pound gurl with one arm. (i help a couple of cheerleaders by being their base) i dont do anything and i have enough muscle to get by with. your muscle mass will deteriorate eventually.

Stop doing things that take more and more of your strength. If you don't tear your muscles, they won't grow bigger.

still do the same exercises you're already doing, but reduce them a bit... that way the fitness and strength will still be there, but will decline a little.
