He was a character that won the audience world wide because he lived life to the hilt, doing what he loved to do best. I was saddened to see him go, and that by such a freak accident. He had handled many stingrays before. There was nothing to warn him that a one in a million stab to the heart would take place. Yet, we know that the chances he took in nature were enormous. He lived a charmed life. He was practically indestructible. Yet the odds caught up with him. We don't like to see our bigger than life heroes die. We feel a certain loss. All men die. All. Now we reflect on that, at least for a few minutes.

I feel really saddened by the news of his passing, but he went doing what he love the most. He was the type of person that did something about what he believed in. He was passionate and unfortunately this tragedy will open a lot of eyes when it comes to conservation of the wild life. Now he is in a better place, but I really feel for his wife and two children, they lost a person that loved them so much.

I never assumed that- I mistakenly assumed that all the people around him that earn their living from him- would be hyperviligent in keeping him safe. He was too enthusiastic to keep himself in check or be fearful or cautious but where the insurance agents or business mangers to make sure nothing happened to him? He died being himself but people around him could have done a little research and taken every precaution to keep him safe.

We never know when we are going to die but his chances were great because of the dangerous profession he was in. He loved to live life on the edge that's for sure. But he also loved what he did.

Risky business he did... I feel so bad he took so many chances with children so young, leaving them with out a daddy so needlessly.

I assume anyone can die at any age. That's the fragility of life, when your number's up, your number's up.
