to fly an air plane a single engine plane you have to be 16 to be on a air plane to travel you must be at least 12 but must have a member put you on and someone must be there to take you off.

Any age. You don't even have to be a human.

If you're too young to do all that stuff by yourself (or just too naive), they'll give you a pouch that you wear around your neck with all your tickets and info, so people in the airport and plane know that you need attention and what to do with you.

You have to be able to go to the toilet and follow the stewards instructions...and feed your self...regardless of the age....
I was put on a plane alone at age 7 years.
