I caught Motley Crue on their Shout At The Devil tour and they were just so wasted the show was a disaster.

Back in the day I drove 85 miles to see "The Turtles" in an outdoor concert. I got there and their plane was late so they rescheduled the show for 2 hours later. So I kicked around for 2 hours, and they cancelled the show again because the plane had just arrived at the airport, which was 2 hours away. So I waited 2 hours more and a terrible thunderstorm with hail, tornadoes, etc., blew into our area, cancelling the show and I drove all the way home in the storm.

Nirvana at the Big Day Out in Sydney a few years ago. The Beasts of Bourbon played just before them, and absolutely ripped it up. Nirvana couldnt even come close to competing with them, and seemed to give up halfway through the set.

Other poor performances would go to The Living End at this years Big Day Out in Sydney. I was looking foward to seeing them all day long, and when they played I was really let down. They didnt seem to want to be there, and they played so many obscure new songs from the new album (before it was released) that the crowd didnt know, so no one wanted to get into it.

Hilltop Hoods in Newcastle. Maybe the worst live show Ive ever seen in my life. A group of boys in hoodies bouncing around the stage while spitting possibly the most dull and boring (and distorted) hip hop Ive ever heard.

And: End of Fashion in Newcastle. Im not a fan, but I did expect a better showing than that. No one, not even the 14 year old girls who normally go nuts for them cared.

Van Halen, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica.

The biggest disappointment was Aerosmith.

These are my 4 biggest disappointments.

Van Halen - During their 1984 tour I sat side stage and was really close. It was like they were all tied to strings that only moved forward and reverse. Total disappointment. Diamond Dave was entertaining, but not enough to save the night.

Aerosmith - Again, I was pretty close to the stage for this show and was totally excited about seeing the band. But Dokken, who only performed for 45 minutes were the better band on the night. Not even Stephen Tyler's energy (much like Diamond Dave) could save the show. A complete bore!!!

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Seen them at a small venue and was not impressed. They are much better suited to a larger venue.

Metallica - Oh how I used to love this band. Up until Master Of Puppets, Metallica ruled! But it was during a large venue show (60,000 people) when they co-headlined with Aerosmith during the Justice For All tour (if I recall correctly), that my friends & I were all disappointed in Metalli-fahkin-ca. That was the end of Metallica for me. We left shakin' our heads and found a better way to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Not a concert, but we went to see Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway, and Sebastian Bach (from Skid Row) was Dr. Jekyll.....he was SO awful! All he did was scream like he was at a concert. What a waste of money...I would have rather seen David Hasselhoff!!!!!!

Tne only concert I have ever been to is NSYNC, and it was so disappointing I have never been interested in another concert since. I was 14 at the time, at it was overcroded with psycho girls all around. Never again.

Aerosmith was the worst concert I've ever seen. It was right after they all stopped doing drugs and I am pretty sure the drugs would have made them sound a little better.
