American League - My pick is Justin Verlander here. He's a part of that great pitching staff in Detroit, and if Verlander does well, the Tigers do well. There aren't too many rookies that are that good.
National League - My pick is Dan Uggla. Uggla is a clutch player, and has alot of talent. He was an All-Star this year remember. Uggla is part of that young Marlins team who is 69-68 (going into September 5th), considering Florida was 20 games under .500 earlier this year.

Liriano should get it for AL, eventhough he's hurt. But he got about 12 wins and 130 K's.
For NL Ryan Zimmerman. He stepped-up for the Nationals, hitting a few game-winning hits and home runs.
