A couple days ago my husband got upset because i wanted to drive his car to see my parents ..I told him i wouldnt be long and i would bring his car back. I stayed 2 hours, took his car back, asked him to drop me back off over there. on the way over he asked for his key...as we went over the great miami river i threw it in...i said if you want it go get it. at a stop sign, he proceeded to say something bad about my dad and i smacked him in the mouth. Sometimes i think i would be better off alone, without a man then now. Your comments are appriated.

I do have a car its in the shop, before he got his car, mine was his..why cant it be like that with his car?

wow. there are alot of problems here and not just about car keys. The issue wasn't really about the keys...you said mean things and you hit him??!!! Good lord why are the two of you even together? I don't agree with well its his car, give him the keys. Both of you need to go to counseling and figure out what the real problem is here.

Is he jealous of you spending time with your family? Does he think your going to sell the car on him?
Yes, probably all of the above - but I think he also wants to control your life. Get your own car and tell him to you know what!

He has Trust issues with you..., You shouldnt let that happen.. Family comes first.. go to marriage counseling.

if my husband asked me for his car keys back, I'd give them back to him, because hey it's his car, he let me borrowed it, I'll give them back.
