It is true, and they have the biggest mouths because they feel they have the biggest point to make, and with so many people that dis agree with them they are not about to waste time trying to talk to one person at a time, instead they like to scream at mass amounts of poeple hoping to get at least one on "their"side. Thats what i have learned after dealing with plenty of close minded people.

If you have a bad idea, then you have to do a lot of shouting in order to find people who'll agree with you. The alternative is to think perhaps you're wrong, which is difficult for a closed mind.

like they used to say in the 60's... open your mind and shut your mouth. it's so true
I've had the same problem the past few days with someone. they always have to have the last word, too!

Closed mind = opened mouth...the mark of the fanatic (which could be either theist or atheist).

AKA narrow-minded?

It's like this: you can't have everything at once - a lot of brains and a loud mouth. you can only have one or the other. whichever develops first. lol

Because we, open minded people, would rather be happy than right.
