here in virginia, they are suppose to buy law wait until you have three strikes against you. like garnashees you have to have three sent in before they can dismiss you

Generally, employment is independent of any legal activity.

But, unless you have a specific employment contract, odds are you are considered an 'at-will' employee, meaning you can be fired for any reason or no reason at management discretion.

Just like the rest of us.
