I know a girl that had a man write a letter. She's from Kenya, and the guy lives in a Arkansas. Anyhow, they only needed one person to write a letter and she got the tourist Visa for a one year! Of course, the embassy can like you and give you the Visa but the problem is the port of entry (the airport that checks immigration information in the US). That's where your friend would get some trouble, but that can be reduced by making sure that the friend follows the following advice: One person writing the letter is enough. You just have to make sure that the return ticket is dated the same as the time the Visa expires.

It is not the invitation that counts, but the criteria (eligibility) of a particular individual who wants to apply for a single or multiple entry visa for the United States. In present situations, they are exercising tight screening of all the individuals applying for the same, due to contineous terrorist treats. Upon submitting all the required documents for processing, the embassy in Nigeria will determine the qualification and eligibility of an applicant to visit the US. They have to submit pertinent documents(ie. properties in Nigeria, certificate of employment and guarantee letter that will come back, sufficient bank accounts, etc.) to convince the immigration officer that they will leave america after the conclusion of their visit, otherwise, visa will be denied.

No no no. This is a scam. This "friend", unless you know them personally and have met them in person and know who they are, is a scammer seeking to rip you off for cash. They will at some point need you to send money for their tickets. This person has no intentions at all of coming to the US. I have had these before myself and after a while the pattern is obvious, but you are still thinking this is real when it is a fraud.
Don't fall for it, and don't give any personal information or they will clean you out.
