OK, first step.. relax. I know I know. It's hard when it's the first day. I'd suggest Capri's. Wear your favorite shirt with it. Whatever makes you feel cute and comfortable. As for makeup? Keep it simple just use some mascara and eyeliner. Bring a purse to put your pads in. If you don't use purses but your bringing a backpack, just put it in one of the small pouches. Everything will be fine. My first day of school was a couple weeks ago. (10th grade) and I was nervous too. I always am on the first day. I promise though. You'll be fine. Your friends will be there and you'll make new friends. If something bad happens, make a joke out of it. As long as your laughing about it too then no ones going to make fun of you.
On the first day of school me and my friend were walking out of school and it's always really crowded. Theres a big rug by the door and as we were going by it we both tripped. We didn't fall but we did have to grab onto some kids (seniors. they laughed) so we wouldn't fall. It was wicked embarrassing. But we just laughed as though it didn't bother us. No one else laughed at us once they saw that we thought it was funny.
Good luck!

First take a deep breath and relax, your making going into 7th grade a bigger deal then it is. Yes its very exciting but relax it will all work out great. I would wear jeans and a nice shirt that wont over heat you. For good makeup tips go to www.seventeen.com . Something natural is usually the best bet. Put your pads in a pocket in your purse that either zips or buttons up. If you get a heavy flow I would go to the bathroom between classes just to check to see if you need to change if its not a heavy flow change it every 3 classes and at lunch. Just make sure you have a late pass or go to the nurses office and use the nurses bathroom so you can get a late pass either that don't take to long. Good luck and take a deep breath and have fun its going to be great!

First of all, let me clarify that tampons aren't that bad, then you don't feel what came out. Put the pads in a backpack or purse in a sort of secret pocket, if you cannot carry a purse, retrieve them at locker breaks and take a bathroom stop. I'm not sure what you have to work with, but I'd suggest capris and a cute short sleeve top (not too flashy) Keep makeup at a minimum, you're only in 7th grade! Think powder, lip gloss, blush OR bronzer on cheeks (not both) and mascara (maybe some lite brown shadow)

I would go with capris and layered tops so you can avoid being too hot or cool, maybe flip-flops... So many girls overdo the first day of school and end up looking ridiculous. (I'm a middle school teacher and I've seen it over and over) It's still technically summer, so dress appropriately. Clean face is best, but lip gloss looks nice. Be sure your nails are clean and well manicured and your hair is clean and styled comfortably. That makes the biggest difference in the impression you will make.
As far as feminine issues, I would recommend wearing something that will give you the max protection (sometimes this can mean wearing 2) You don't want any unexpected spots. Keep a spare one in your pocket so you don't have to worry about transferring from bag to pocket before using the restroom.

Ah, I'm so glad I went to a uniformed school... If you carry a bag, and it has any kind of hidden/secret pocket, put your pads in there. I don't know about makeup, I don't wear any, but I'd recommend capris over jeans - being uncomfortably hot will make you even more nervous.
And above all, relax and enjoy! Meet some new people, have some fun and make it a good time!

Where whatever clothes will make you comfortable especially since it's going to be warm (no AC) and you're on your period. Put extra pads in your purse and when you use the restroom, change them and put in the waste receptacle (most stalls should have them so it will be private). Good luck with this new school year!

Don't wear makeup. "It's gonna be 76 degrees..." The makeup won't last and will run. Trust me. I know.
For your pads, bring one or two along and stick them in your backpack - hopefully not dropping any. Change your pads, stick them in the little provider thing.
As for pants, I'd say yes, kapris are out of style by now anyway, and pants are in. (Summer = kapris)
