I had once dropped my cellphone in the toilet once, take it to a cellphone repair shop, they have some chemical which absorbs all the water, I dunno how much it ll cost. I forgot to mention it to the repairman tht I had dropped it in water so it never got repaired the way it was supposed to be.

well i denno.. i had a similar incident where i left my motorola v551 in the cup holder of my truck apparently there was a drink that i had left in the other holder so then the drink spilt and my phone was submerged for about 3 hours (i was at work @ the time) so then when i got off work i realized that it was sunk in the water or whatever it was well whatever... apparently in the battery place thingy there is a white circle that turns red when the phone is submerged or gets wet i thought that was pretty cool so i guess you have to wait till the circle turns back to its white color which means that all liquid or whatever is gone and that its safe to turn your phone back on... well i did that and in a couple of days the circle was white again so i turned on the phone and it was working as if nothing had happened to it... but if you tried to turn it on prior to that it can burn the chip ir whatever so yeah thats my answer and hopefully it was of help...

Depends, but mostly cannot as the phone's circuit board has been in contact with water, although the circuit can be made dry manually but opening program sometimes will hang or maybe shut off without notice.

if you have insurance on it with your plan, then they can replace it. just call them and tell them what happened. it's too late now, but if you ever drop it in the water again, take out the battery, and the sim card and lay it open in front of a fan to dry out, it should work then.

So if this happened, please dont SWITCH ON the handphone first. Try to use a dryer to make it dry. Do it twice to confirm it is dry. And once after that, try to switch it on again, and it should be ok!
And its really works!
