hey i agree i'm from australia, and i have been up all night its now 10.00am in the morning,
I have been up posting to every as.sholes misguided cruel comments about a true aussie icon, People may not realise that this is a massive i mean MASSIVE deal in Australia, Why can't you respect that,
How dare you say things that you have about this man, have you no heart?

Listen, I think it's tragic and sad that he died, but I have a FLASH for you: A great many people around the globe died yesterday and today, etc., and Irwin was merely one of many. People here must never have had anyone close to them die under unfortunate circumstances to be this obsessed with the demise of ONE GUY! I am sorry for his family, of course. But enough already! I am sure he will be remembered but the world needs to go on revolving and it will. Enough of the maudlin stuff the guy is gone. The ones who should be grieving are his family and I am sure they are. Your lives all continue on unscathed, so I think ti is now time to move onto another topic! Geesh!

i think many people just lack the compassion gene. i think its a tragedy, along with everyone else who died yesterday and today and last month and last year. however, steve irwin was an icon a lot of people could relate to in some way or another. and for those people who disagree...may you kiss every fans a s s, twice over!

I hate it when people make fun of things like this Steve might not be able to defend him self but I know his family would be devastated to hear some of the things people are low en ought to say about him! So im going to defend him for he was a great and wonderful man who loved animals and the world we live in.
