One thing you need to learn is never play cupid and get in the middle of anything having to do with a relationship that doesn't invove you. Why in the world would you want to hook your ex and your best friend up in the first place? That just spells "disaster."
Let things go how they will go and tell him if he doesn't like her then he should break it off. This situation isn't fair to your best friend and if it doesn't end she is going to get hurt - and if she finds out that you made him ask her out she is going to be hurt and pissed at you.

It seems like he is confused also. I wouldn't go as far as wondering if he "loves" her. Maybe he likes her, maybe he doesn't, you can't really get the answer unless you are inside his head. Even asking him may not get you the answer. He may be with her to be close to you, or he may be with her because he has nothing better to do and doesn't really care. That's what it sounded like by your details. Let's be honest here, men are less mature than women are, its a fact. So this entire situation may be much more serious to you than it is to him. Don't try to figure him out, girl, because the chances are he doesn't know what he's doing and why either.

As you say he is your ex I presume you didn't want him or you wouldn't have hooked him up with your mate.

I would suggest that you leave them to get on with it and ignore his flirting.

As a good friend you will obviously be there to pick up the pieces if it doesn't work out!

Your ex does not like your best friend...but since you let him go I think he's trying to make you realize that he still loves you and maybe you guys can try again. But there's also a chance that he's trying to make you jealous.

I think that he still likes you or he is flirting with you to get your best friend to break up with him there is no doubt that he doesn't like you still. I think you should tell your friend that he is still flirting with you and that he doesn't like her

Stop flirting with him and stop forcing him to go out with your best friend.

You're just hurting her.

He wanted to do anything that you asked. He Doesnt love her. he just did it. so you wouldnt feel like a failure. and he said ok because he figured that you didnt like him so he just moved on to her. girl, he likes you.., Go for it if you like him.
