Maybe its a streak, and maybe he is back on steroids (as bonds haters would say). but according to experts his swing is back and he his performing like he used to. what do you people have to say now.

o and how can you say he doesnt belong in the Hall of Fame just because his Homeruns in one year might have been due to steroids. he still stole an incredible amount of bases, hits, RBIs, Walks, Runs, and has the best swing and eye in baseball, something steroids cant give you.

I would say he's a cheater. However, as you pointed out, he was a Hall of Famer before any steroid issues. He was probably the second best player, if not the best of the 1990s before he did any steroids, so you can't say he's not a Hall of Famer. However, he is still a cheater but if baseball doesn't really care, why should we?

He was an above average player before he started using steroids. An absolutely horrible person and about the last thing from a team player but he was good. With steroids he got a lot better and because of them has been around and stayed great for a lot longer. That said, it's pretty damn obvious he used a lot of steroids over a long period, not just one year. I still think he's on something because there are a lot of compounds out there that they still can't test for, like HGH which we already know he used.

The thing I hate about him is that he won't take any responsibility for his actions. At least Jason Giambi admitted he used steroids... I have some respect for him for that.

To begin with it has been provin that H G H does have a dramatic effect on the eyesight and secondly do you really believe that there was only one year that the roids effected his numbers? Yes his swing is back but you can also say that about the steroid posterchild Jason Giambi, It took him awhile after stopping the roids to get back his swing, but it did return

by the way, no one is assuming that he was only on steroids for only one season. it seems pretty obvious that he was juiced for several years. and how can we keep him out of the hall of fame you ask? we can do so because he is the most obvious symbol of baseball's most disgraceful era. that's how. he is a waste. there is no question that bonds is talented. had he never been juiced, he would have assuredly had a hall of fame career.

furthermore, a great number of those things can be directly linked to steroids. for instance, his rbi total will obviously go up if there are people on base when he hits his fake home runs. his run total will increase as well because of his increased home run total. and as was pointed out before, most pitchers simply wouldn't give him anything good to hit. again, he did and still does have a wicked good swing, but he is simply a cheater. even if he does make it into the hall of fame, and he presumably will, no one will ever like him.

I always feel sorry for people who have to jump up & down & get all worked up because "their player" is better than anyone else. So this loser, by default, thinks he is a winner, because the guy he is rooting did well.

I'll make this simple:
1) Barry Bonds has no idea who you are
2) Barry Bonds couldn't care about you in the slightest
3) Barry Bonds is a drug user
4) Barry Bonds is a disgrace to the sport

I guess steroids didn't make Jose Canseco a good base stealer either. BTW, Bonds only walks a lot because pitchers pitch around him so that he doesn't hit steroid fuelled taters.
