You can probably get a few CD-RW CDs or a few 2 or 4 Gig Flash Drives and save all the program files to the CDs/Flash Drives.

Once you open up the CD or Flash Drive's Drive, copy the files you want to back up and drag and drop them into the Flash Drive or CD Drive/folder.

Definitely back up files. You can use a blank CD or put some of your files on a file hosting site if you don't want to spend too much on CDs.

purchase an external hard drive and transfer all the files through the usb port. That would be the best way, and they reallyt aren't that expensive anymore.

Other than that, you can back it all up by buring it on to cd-r or dvd-r's

Buy an external drive to be connected to the USB port or by a USB card and copy your files.

Back up everything important onto dvd or cd. Simple when you know how. You can also back up your whole HDD too.
