I know I certainly did!! We used to laugh at work because she would kick at this little soccer ball I had. I started seeing the kicking at the end of my second trimester. I think it was because I was so skinny.
From Babycenter.com (an awesome website!).
While an ultrasound can identify fetal movement as early as 7 to 8 weeks of pregnancy, women generally don't begin to feel the baby move until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks or later, particularly if it's the woman's first pregnancy.
The initial sensations you'll notice aren't real kicks, either. Instead, some women describe the feeling as being like popcorn popping or butterflies in the stomach. If you don't feel any activity by 22 weeks, ask your doctor or midwife about it.
After a while, you'll begin to discern a pattern to your baby's movement and you'll know if something's amiss.

Depending on how far along you are , your size and first , second baby so on .... ext. is varys with every woman . I'd say this is your first and if your small around 100-130 i'd say you wont feel it what they call "fluttering" bout 17-20 weeks and axually kick or roll (b.c some babys dont kick or punch some just roll around also) but axually kick if your small around 26-28 weeks.
I was 24 weeks before i felt my'n kick,

Later it got stronger and i could see movement.
Now at 33 wks I can see a whole lot of movement from turning and pushing and kicking. I feel hiccups and everything.

I started seeing it around 6 months. But, it was difficult to see. It was just like a quick little twitch on my belly. Now I am 7 months and its pretty easy to see. I can see when she takes her foot or arm and rolls it across my stomach. It looks like an alien is trying to escape. Its pretty cool.
And no... you cant actually see the outline... you just see a bump moving across.

I would say that you usually see it kicking when it becomes so large that every move it makes can literally be seen when you look at your stomach.

When i was pregnant with my oldest I would lay on my back and you could see the shape of her. She was a mover and a shaker. You could see her roll around it was awesome.
