hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

Harm, probably not. But one can RUIN the definition file of the other. In fact, by running two they might be effective in cancelling each other out.
Yes, Scan a computer with a secondary anti-virus solution, but you should disable the primary anti-virus when you do this.
In general, I use the plain version of Norton Anti-virus. I always recommend getting the DISK, so installation and re-installation is easier. But many people like the free version of AVG http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1

You can only run one Anti-Virus program. You can run more than one Anti-Spy program. I would recommend three AS programs for minimum protection.
The Pest Trap program you purchased is spyware. Go to this google page. There are all kind of sites to tell you about it. NEVER PURCHASE A PROGRAM FROM A POPUP ON YOUR COMPUTER SAYING YOU ARE INFECTED AND NEED TO PURCHASE THEIR PROGRAM TO REMOVE IT.

These programs are worthless and will not protect your computer. They are called Extortion ware by the way they get you to purchase it. You need to report them to the FBI and your States Attorney Generals Office.

No, but it may slow your computer down a bit if both are set to scan automatically. There si the possibilty that the two programs could conflict, however, unlikely.
Is there a reason you're running 2 virus programs?
Run one good one and free up system resources.
I use AVG. It is free and works very well.

There is no reason why it should.
Sometimes they may conflict though, for example when microsoft word requests virus scan, it may be confused of which one, so may freeze the system.
Well i haven't had a problem like that before, so can't gurantee.

You only want to run 1 antivirus program. If you have more than one you will really mess up your pc. You can have more than 1 antispyware program.

Like one attacks the other or something? As funny as that would be, I think not. As long as both programs are from reputable companies, I doubt you will have any problems.

If you have them both running in the backround, there can be resource conflicts, resulting in a very slow system, or one that locks up sometimes.
