I live in Ohio, my family is in Oklahoma. I moved for a job, no jobs in my field back home. Sometimes I wish that I could live closer to home, then I visit and remember why it is so great to have a little distance - less distance would be better, but distance is quite desirable.

There is a distance of 350 miles between where I live now and where I grew up. I moved to Illinois in 1975 when I was 22 because in Detroit there were no jobs and my best friend moved to Illinois and asked if I want to move out to Illinois. Obviously I said yes and been here for almost 32 years now. About 20 years ago I thought about moving back, but then I realized you can't go back home. So here I am.

Yes, I used to live in British Columbia, Canada and I moved 2 years ago to Alberta, Canada i'm 12 hours away from my paretns and the rest of my family. I moved cause I wanted a change. and because my boyfriend got a job here in Alberta. I've never thought about moving back there is nothing there for me back home. it was a small town only 11,000 people and where i live now there is about 60,000 so the perfect size not to big not to small.
