Yes, they definately should. We live in a country with an atmosphere of freedom, and once used to that freedom, anyone will be hesitant to give it up, and it just plain isn't right to make them give it up.
BUT there is a big condition to this statement. For someone that young and impressionable, they need supervision, restraint and discipline before they are ever allowed to have this freedom. Parents, don't be too lazy and let them do whatever they want to, but at the same time, don't be so ignorant as to keep your children from something just because you can't put the time in to monitor their activities and make sure they're safe!
Keeping children from something for no other reason than the slight, slight possibility of damage or negative influence will force your children to live a very sheltered and limited life.
Let your children live, while at the same time making sure to keep an eye out for the potential problems that could arise from ANY activity in life.
Besides, myspace is a great new way for this generation of children to be a part of a community within their friends they live near AND those that they would have no way of communicating with without myspace. Just KEEP AN EYE OUT for your children and you will have very little to worry about.

Nope. I don't think kids under 15 should have a myspace.

Sure why not? Parents should be monitoring what their kids are doing online. My daughter is on there and she is 14. Its a great way for her to keep in touch with her friends all over the country not to mention her family.

I think it's ok,but they should be taught to recognize if someone on the website is trying to "pick them up". Because pedophiles have been know to use the website,to lure young girls and boys into "traps",it is best for the young users to use an alias name, and never give out personal information about themselves. Hopefully they will be safe, not sorry.

Why not? Everyone should have the freedom of being in a community if they want to.

No! Too much pornographic material!

I'm 23 and a Christian. That's what chased me off. I don't need that garbage in my life.

(I even attracted a bisexual woman. Barf!)
