Date & apple squares
1/2 c Butter or margarine softened
3/4 c Sugar
1 x Egg
2 x Apples peeled finely chopp
1/2 c Chopped Nuts
1/2 c Chopped Dates
1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking Soda
1 ts Baking Powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Blend butter and sugar then beat in egg. Stir in apples dates and nuts. In a separate bowl combine flour baking powder and baking soda. Gradually stir into apple mixture. Spread in a greased 9"x9" pan and bake 30 minutes.
