He's been dodging childsupport for years. My daughter is19 and away in college. Her fees are to much for me to handle. We have his address but the state can't find his employer. Are there other options I can take?

If you have an address to his work give it to them. The state really doesn't try very hard. Also there are child support retrieval company's who will work for you try looking in the phone book.

Get a good lawyer and/or private investigator and find out where he is working and then send the info to the state. If he is working legally the state should be able to track the business down. But if worse comes to worse you might wanna just bite the bullet and hire a PI.

Is he making money under the table? If he is legally working (paying taxes) child services will be able to locate him through his social security number considering that you have a court order for him to pay.
If hes working under the table, thats one more charge youll be able to use as leverage against him. (Tax evasion.)

Most states are very proactive about CS. They can and do suspend driving privileges, garnishee wages and jail time.Family services should be able to help you. You have a court order and thats what they are there for, POS deadbeat Dads.
I wish you luck. See link below, maybe that will help also. Dont pay anyone to help you collect unless they are a lawyer. Too many scams.
