May be that was too ambiguous. How can I be successful in Artificial Intelligence areas, say I choose to deal with computer as opposed to stuff like robots. Mechanisms and/or approach probably would be more or less the same.

Know Your Subject.
Inside out, upside down, back to front...
Then learn to present, to engage attention and keep it (especially after lunch)... to be interesting, attractive, funny...
to be concise, but clear and detailed.
To be organised, and patient.
Be prepared to stand up and walk about for the whole day.
Have a good voice, and the stamina to keep talking all day...
Be ready for all your demos and visual aids to fail, making you fall back on a whitebaord and a marker, if you're lucky...

Prepare, rehearse, rehearse and prepare.
(Fail to prepare, prepare to fail...)

And you'll be the best trainer ever...

You need a whip, a chair, and nerves of butter..
No, wait, that's for pancakes..
To be successful at training PEOPLE to use computers, you need to have patience, and knowledge, and patience, and wisdom, and the guts to be wrong now and then, and patience.

Go to school, learn all you can about the computer, then you will be able to teach the information.
