I think my molly may be pregnant. Any clue as to how long it'll last??? And any ways of actually telling the sex of the molly to see if it COULD in fact be pregnant?

21 to 28 days
The males have longer tails than the female and since they are live bearers you would of seen the male chasing the female around and getting real close to her. I dont know how old you are so thats all i will say on that matter but if she is pregnant her belly will get real big be prepared to seperate the babies as soon as they are born because the mother and other fish will eat the ones they can catch. Its best to seperate her towards the end so you dont have to worry about it. you can make a perfect seperator so as they are released from the mother they will float down to the lower part and not be able to get back up with her and once she if finished move her back to the tank. how i made one once was I took a plastic funnel one of the short ones and placed it inside a large mayonaise jar and hook up an air hose to it so she would have air. as the babies were released they fell down the tube of the funnel and were safe on the bottom. Change her water in the jar using the water from the fish tank every other day so her water stays clean.

A mollys gestation is usually about 28-30 days. They have been known to be irregular though dependent on tank temperature, space etc. So it could be anywhere from 20-40 days.
