I think he lost respect of the fact that he dealt with "wild" animals and got careless. I always marveled on the fact that this guy wasn't seriously screwed up by some animal already.

Have some compassion for his wife and kids who lost some one they love.
Steve Irwin did a hell of alot to conserve wild life in various parts of the world, not just Oz. He bought thousands of hectacres of land so animals could thrive, as well as diminishing fauna.
He died in a freak accident. What comes as a shock is that it was from a sting ray; from which death is usually rare.
We don't need people like you to point out that we are all fallible, and only human.

What nonsense. No, Irwin was a risk taker and he took one too many. People die every day around the globe and many under tragic circumstances. He was just one more. It's sad, of course, but people just go on and on, and I suspect they have never known anyone close to them who died under tragic circumstances. If they did, they would not go on like this. Enough of this subject!

It's sad that he died, but we need to learn about the creatures around us, the plant life and so on. It helps better understand our environment and in some cases, these plants and animals help us find cures to illness's.

If I put a revolver up to my head with one bullett in it and keep pulling the trigger over and over again , eventually i am gonna shoot myself.
If I go out and play in traffic over and over and over again , eventually I am gonna get struck by a car.
It has nothing to do with annoying Mother Nature. It has to do with the fact that he continuously put hisself in danger . Over and Over and Over again . Just like playing with a gun that has only one bullett in it!
Just a shame though. His kids are the ones who are truly gonna suffer.

after all the dangerous snakes, gators, etc. that you and i would never touch and he handled like it was easy and then he die's by something that you are able to pet at your local sea world, then yes mother nature has its revenge.
