1. The desire to leave. 2. First and last months rent. 3. Money for gas and electric utilities and telephone. 4. Money for food. 5. Gas money or bus fair money to get to work. 6. Medicine. 7. A good alarm clock. 8. Appliances, refrigerator, stove, washer. 9. Dishes, pots and pans. 10. A savings account. Good luck, it's much easier living at home freeloading off your parents than being on your own and doing it yourself. Thank God for good mom.

lots of love and kindness. The world is full of people that have their own categories of what they are. The family can either hold up a strong foundation when you move on your own. So, i would if i moved out have a cellphone with so many minutes to spare so i could talk to my family, and have many pictures of the fun memories i've had together.

you will need furniture for each room. first is a bed and somewhere to put your clothes. next at least one comfortable chair maybe a couch. you will need tv radio and whatever other entertainment you can fit in. next is the kitchen equipment then the bath and dont forget cleaning things. try ryder truck rental they have a booklet about how to pack your things that will give you more tips.lol.

Somewhere to go would be a nice start. Then you need to have dishes furniture food. You need a job to pay for all this. Most of all you need to be ready to support yourself. Be responsible.

Be sure to save your money. Don't blow it on little things like fast food and stuff. You never know when you'll have a financial emergency and you don't want to ask your parents everytime you need a little help.

You need to know how to make and live by a budget. And stay away from credit cards. If you can't pay for it with cash, you don't need it!
