Why don't Yahoo ever have Featured Questions asked by everyday people? The questions they select don't seem to me to be any better than lots of others asked by non-celebs. And who knows whether the questioner is a real celeb or someone just pretending? I hate star f***ers and the whole culture of celebrity!

Just to set the record straight, I don't ever expect to have a featured question myself and that's not what this is about. Just that there are lots of really good and interesting q's being asked on YA but not featured. I quite understand that YA want the publicity from people shallow enough to believe that just because a celeb subscribes to something it must be good, but wouldn't it be a bit more interesting if there were a mix of celeb and non-celeb featured questions? Without any of the stupid c**p that some idiots post obviously! I'm not sure anyone's interested in "what's your cup size" or "have you had sex with a pet".

in todays society, where it seems almost everyone is obsessed with celebrities, and in becoming a celebrity (through reality tv for example), it would appear that having a celebrity using Yahoo Answers is a massive publicity boost, and so if it works, then you cant blame Yahoo for doing it.

however, as someone who detests reality tv with a passion, and is not interested in the slightest in so called 'celebrities' i too disagree with it.

Well, would you, if you were in charge of YA's, specially feature a question such as 'why do my armpits smell like sh!t?' or 'I eat only Kfc bargain buckets every day, why am I so fat?' or 'My cell mate stole my slop out bucket; was he taking the p!ss?'

I saw a pull out in the free metro newspaper today for yahoo answers, and they had ordinary questions featured in there. But they were more sensible than has been the average.

Why do you crave a featured question? Is your life so shallow that you need to get up in the big time by being noticed on yahoo.

What a cheb!!!

Think you just need an interesting question.
I got one the other day, but really I don't know what the big deal is about.
Just relax and let it happen.
