I know a commercial should be memorable, but shouldn't it also be...enticing? Or at least make the product look attractive? I mean, what percent of parents, after sitting through a Kidzbop commercial, are gonna say, oh, hey, let me buy that for my child so as to subject myself to the full version 24-7? Or how about 'Zoom-Zoom'? It annoys the heck out of me, but then I thought, well hey, it sticks with me so maybe that's the point....but then again, I can't remember what car it's for, so I guess it won't sell me anything. Have you heard the one from Dell? "My head is a box filled with nothing..." only the 'my head is' part isn't quite as loud so from the other room I'm always hearing about how I should buy from Dell, simultaneous with a description: 'a box filled with nothing'. So what do you think? Which ones work? What others do you have thoughts/opinions about?

A commercial is effective if you remeber everything..."zoom zoom" =Mazda Vehicles. Marketing is the most important part of an advertisement...If you can recognize a sound, an action or a picture from that certain comercial you are more likey to talk about it at work the next day intriguing co-workers and customers to look for this ad. This is a tactic that is being used by a lot of companies today. Companies such as AFlac( the duck), Vonage with the anoying who who song and Geico with its talking geko. All these companies have made tons of money from there 30 second spots on televison. Its becuz people talk.

there are so many really funny commercials out there but I have know idea what they are selling since the humor out does the product. If you want to sell me something advertise the price and make it sound like a deal I can't pass up.

They already know what will work mostly. So, I'm not gonna help them drill into our heads any better than they do already. I like the funny ones, I think its Gieco or Gecko or whaever, the one with celeb translators for regular folks. Hilarious.

Coca cola! Since i say the advert with Tyresse, i never stopped drinking it. And it has so much caffine which is not good for the system. Really, most things with huge advert are not good.
