Yes, some people do until they start realizing just how little time humans have to live and even that time is not known. Some people seem to put off really enjoying life, assuming that they will have plenty of time later for that trip around the world or to spend time with a family member. My grandmother lived to be 98 and she was extremely healthy and active up til the very end. She credited her long life with taking time everyday to enjoy some aspect of the world and to always finding humor around her. She loved to laugh and tell funny stories. She also cooked with lard!!! : )

You betcha..,we have become a lazy society and rely on computers which has made the brain somewhat lazy..,try getting a cashier to count change back to you like it should be..,so we take the use of our brains for granted to a certain extent,I almost lost my son to cancer,I see my children differently now and appreciate every second I get to talk to them.I am not a religious person but I do thank God for the things that I used to take for granted..,waking up to the sunshine, the lavender skies at night, birds making their nests,so many little things that now mean alot.I am not a nut case..,just appreciate life more.

Absolutely...it will usually take a tragedy to wake them up to their actions. We also take people for granted, hope everyone opens their eyes, but I think we all get into that rut from time to time.

Yes. We are all guilty. I think it is very diffifcult to realize the position we are really in right now and to enjoy or appreciate the opportunities we have each day is nearly impossible.

Until there is a tragedy. Otherwise we'd never get through the mundane tasks that everyone has to face.

Yes by being caught up in the rat race. If only all of us could live like this was the last day of our lives.
