iam an egyptian student currently doing my BA in business managment in university & iam thinking of going to paris to do my masters degree . but i heard that there is racial discrimination against people of middle eastern origin and that makes me afraid beacause if this is true i wont have any french freinds due to this discrimnation . is it a big issue over there please help ??? thank you

No. French people are not as snobby as most people think. If you are polite and everything, you will be fine. Please understand that french customs are different and that they might find things rude that you don't. Take time to learn their customs. French people are a little easily offended. As long as you aren't really touchy.

You can find discrimination in France as in the rest of the world.
French univiersities are known for the inclussion of different etnics, therefore I would not be afraid.

there is discrimination everywhere.
don;t let simple fears like that interfere with an otherwise good idea.
there are also good people everywhere

there is discrimination everywhere please don't be afriad by not going you are supporting those who discriminate and give them power from fear
