There are 2 or 3 different types of Cell technologies. Nextel uses IDEN. They don't make an IDEN model of the Q at this point.

The Motorola Q stinks. My son had 5 in 4 days. All died in a very short time along with errors after errors. He switched it for a pocket PC and loves it. We have Verizon.
