You'll have to push it through gently in order to make it hurt less. If you want, you can poke the back, then the front, and so on until they feel a little more open. If they COMPLETELY re-closed, you'll need to get them redone. However, if they're not completely closed and you're going to push it through, I would recommend doing it with a stud. Hoops are so much harder to push in the first time you're trying to open them up again. Once you have it in, twist it around a little to make sure the hole stays open. And for the future,I would keep studs in as often as possible if i were you.Going days without earrings in is not a good way to keep them open. Also, twist them a few times a day to help make sure the skin doesn't grow around the earring. Good luck!

a frustrating experience forsure! i always used plain soap and water- use your longest wire (easier to hang on to) and also thinnest- just soap up the ear lobe - place the wire to the hole on the front side..
work slowly with alittle push- you may even want to pull down on the bottom of the lobe to help manuver the wire through- just keep working the wire through slow and sure-dont give up! if you dont have french wires to open the hole then use your thinnest and longest posts. use antiseptic to clean daily- some people have a hard time to keep the piercings from growing back
keep small ones in at night and use "nickel free"..hope this helps

Cay-Cay, you don't have the ability or the authority to offer 20 points.
If the wounds have closed, you must force them open. You can ice the ear-lobes to dull the pain. But if the wounds closed completely they will need to be re-pierced. Studs will keep the holes open - get some.

1. Use rubbing alcohol
2. Use Vaseline intensive care , just keep working and working and eventually you will be able to get the earring in.
3. Once you have the piercing in the ear keep putting alcohol so it won't get infected

The only way to get it in is by forcing it in. It will hurt a little. Numb it with ice and push your earing through. Or have it repeirced and pay another 25.00

If you push it through quickly, because it's mostly scar tissue on the pre-existing hole, it won't hurt as bad as the initial piercing. (even though the initial piercing barely hurts most people)

Get some studs. Force them through. Otherwise you will have to get them re-pierced and it will have to be at least 3mm apart. KEEP THE STUDS IN. THEY WILL GROW UP IF NEWLY/RECENTLY PIERCED. Dull them with ice. Put the stud through both front and back too
