my x-box has a dvd plugin so i can watch movies and every time i try to watch a movie(with no scratches on dvd) it pauses and skips and shuts down and starts over. what can i do to fix this problem?- other than buy a new one....

i forgot to add that with the games its perfectly fine no problems and evan the games with a few scratches it will read it fine.

Make sure it is plugged in completely... it may be your xbox's drive... does it do it with games?...
Call 1-800-4MYBOX they can tell you exactly...

Sounds like the laser is not tracking correctly. Does it still play games? Maybe the plugin is damaged. try a new one.

The DVD playback kit may be defective. Take it back to the store and exchange it.
